2009-10-18 - LFGSS Cake & Bake Off

I'm using up as much windfall fruit as possible and have done a tarte tatin and now a bitter chocolate and pear tarte, this is a consideration for the sheer amount of fruit I still have after I made chutney from my best friend's allotment windfall this weekend.

I have ready 10 jars of glorious Brixton apple, damson and red onion chutney and Lambeth-produced pear and plum with chili relish.

Bring on Xmas!

Maybe you could get James Martin involved in this? He's a cyclist-friendly cook, right?

Sorry for the delay in setting a date for this but it will be announced soon. I'm going to talk to Steve at the C&H next Monday so we hopefully we will have a confirmed date and venue then.
