For you maybe, my clubmate Dave Marshall kept on at me to try gears and set up his Raleigh Ti Proffessional 14spd for me and I rode the Sussex/Surrey VTTA 25TT last Sunday, I rode 1:09:50 even taking in to account the wrong turn that aded 40 seconds that is stil four minutes slower than I rode on the Challock course which is hillier :(
I thinkk to be fair I would need to ride one longer to get used to it again, that was my first geared ride for five years :)
