Campy record high flange sitting in the garage. Plus got a nos 3tt black suade saddle, cinelli bars and stem standing by. Think I just need a braze on rather than band on front mech and to sort the moser panto'd ring out and I'm ready for the build. Shame it is fucking nearly winter though(t)

This is the second Colnago Super I have bought in the last month by the way, some other cunt seems to think he can keep my money and the frame.

No private sale, and an international bank transfer which makes things more difficult. I got excited and threw the money at him like a dick. Can see me just having to take the hit tbh but will give him a load of shit first!
Edit: oh and thanks to our very own Retrodicorsa for most of the campy bits!

The old donohue is finally coming together, just waiting on some new bars and seatpost. Currently sporting the zipp clincher i just can't bear to part with, although I have a deep v to match that white h son...sorry for the crap photo...and the unforgiveable yellow valve cap

You in East Anglia, Eddie? I'm living in Norwich, working in Diss right now.
Bit of a tangent this, but does anyone who lives in the E Anglia area know anything about Carbonology. Apparently they can do repairs to carbon frames, and I'm trying to get people's experiences. For some reason there seem to be a lot of carbon workshops etc in that part of the country. -

its a aero da post i had lying around, inserted to the limit, about 10cm in...gonna try a short non-aero post, a little further in, as its a little tall for me right now

just wondering because it might be best to get a long one that goes in past the top tube junction.
prav snapped his frame above for the same reason -

So...
On a spur of the moment put a bid in on a rubbish Ebay ad http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=270454235020&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT
Just picked it up to find its a EG Bates, with lovely Nervex lugs. Struggling to work out the age of it though, any tips on serial numbering?
One weird thing - the rear wheel is flip-flop, with a 4-speed simplex gears on one side and threads for sprocket and lock ring on the other side? Never seen this before?
Will post some photos tomorrow.

Just about finished tinkering with this for the moment. Been wanting to give aluminium a go for a little while. First time I've ridden with risers too and this is lots of fun! Slack chain! Need to keep experimenting with gearing to sort this as it's got vert dropouts. NIce bright orange for these dingy winter months...
