aomething different... hmm, did you drill a hole in your fuji frame or it came with the front brake?
-
• #53
I'm pretty sure that it comes undrilled but the shop where Dammit bought it from drilled it for him.
-
• #54
i'm just scared to come near to the frame with the drill :-) a front break would make it roadworthy though.
-
• #55
just get a shop to do it, the hole is already there, its just covered by a thin plate, if you want it done and don't know who to ask, talk to edwardes of camberwell, but i'm sure Tour De Ville or ted would do it for ya.

tour de ville it is then. cheers. i just have shaky hands.

Just to confirm that despite this being a great wheel it's not for me.
Extremely light
Very stiff/strong
Amazed at how unaffected by side winds it is- especially if you are going quickly
I think it looks coolBack for sale, contact Flickwg to arrange your purchase.

Hi,
I was wondering if anybody else has another HED3 front wheel 700c for sale? Incredibly desperate for one after being out bid on the last 5 that where on ebay. I am willing to pay £350 [and possibly more] for the wheel. Please pass on to anybody who knows.ta.x

I have a 650c tub, yours for £349.50?
-
• #60
Yeah, actualy yeah I wouldn't mind as long as it's in good nick and a trispoke HED3?
-
• #61
HED3 is a Trispoke! The clue is in the name!
-
• #62
ahem I have an aerospoke for sale. They're like, way better than HED3: 5 spokes instead of 3 -> 67% better.
-
• #63
true that
-
• #64
Doesn't asm have Arrospoks too! :)
-
• #65
I've heard the aerospokes weigh a tone tho
-
• #66
My Roberts with a 'Spok (apologies to Chas, I'm doing my best to fix the situation) still weighs less than Corny's 'Spokless tarck... FACT!!!

It is a trispoke, but it's not in great nick. £349.50 was a joke. you can have it for £100.

Hmmmm..... i've been considering a HED3, a Spinergy REV-X (again) or a Corima 4 Spok, never even considered a Mr Arse-spok coz of all the daft threads.... TS do you rate yours?
-
• #69
aerospoke weighs 1242g

Fuck me asm, what else have you got lying around??
I want a Corima. Fiddy dollar?
-
• #71
I love my 'Spok, it is heavy but not that heavy... They just feel so smooth... Just don't take one on the track... Try mine, Toby... I'll need something awesome and clinchy from you in the meantime tho'... ;]
-
• #72
Are you talking about that Corima Disc? If so, it just sold on eGay for £$£$£$£$£!!!
-
• #73
Not disc, I want a 4 spoke front. Pref 650 but in no panic :) (unless asm has one for stupidly cheap)

Actually not kidding, btw.
The front and rear will be up for grabs, the rear could potentially be used as a front as well, if it's a screw-on jobbie.
See attached picture.

Thanks but I've got enough wheels here. I'd consider it but I'll be running PT wheel rear so will just throw a Ksyrium up front.. unless I find a bunch of talent hidden somewhere and need to buy speed..
