Surly Steamroller

the pista and the steamroller are about as far apart in terms of ride as it's possible to get. the latest pista is twitchy, quite harsh for steel but a quick bike if a little unpredictable. the steamroller is much more consistent in it's behaviour, strong but heavier.

One of the reasons is beause the steamroller has a low BB which gives a more stable ride (lower centre of gravity and a feelng of being sat in the bike rather than perched on it as with a track frame). The head angle and fork rake should make it handle quickly enough (whch is does on the road)
