Has someone shot him in the back with a crossbow ?
He's tripped over his Mrs' CRICKET bag!
He 'won' an 85th min penalty for that too which he converted and won 2-1. Horrible, horrible cunt!

If you admire the man for "taking whats his" i.e. being greedy then fair play. lets hope those red tops teach you a little more about the game next monday
haha. he is just doing what almost everyone does. very, very, very few football players are loyal, very few will stick around if they can make double and tripple their earnings elsewhere. and if they didn't they'd be idiots.
i think you've also forgotten that your club still employ william gallas

did you see his control for the 2nd yossi benayoun goal on saturday PURE CLASS the ball was behind him and under his feet the way he dragged that forward and got the cross in was world class not just 1st division class

ah that doesn't count Gallas disapears most matches so your argument is invalid
He is on £150k a week, we paid him £80k. its a hard life

urgh. yes in comparison to you and i he is earning probably more a week and you and me take home a year. however that is completely not the point.
i would imagine that he's playing in one of the most competitive sports in terms of turning professional. if he's lucky his career will last a decade and he might be at his peak for half of that. he's doing what every single other person in his position would do, including celebrating in front of arsenal fans. -

the first group stage of the CL is amongst the most boring and pointless football played on the planet. i won't watch one minute of it. roll on the start of the competition.

http://www.guardian.co.uk/sport/2009/sep/16/tottenham-hotspur-diggerDepends who they sell Spurs too. It's well known that ENIC have a strategy to sell the club, they just need to make it attractive to a potential purchaser. That would appear to equate to either a) planning permission for a new ground or b) Champions League qualification. Both would be a bonus.

someone tell me if i'm dreaming. i've come home, switched the tv straight on and arsenal are down 2 with only 10 minutes played?

No dream, pretty poor start dubious penalty.

No doubt the Arsenal players have PTSD from witnessing Adebayor's brutal assault at the weekend. Was the penalty award due to a Liege player diving ? Shocking stuff if so.

It was very theatrical.

2-3 to the Arse ha!

Lucas Neill's having a medical with us today :-(
Always hated him, dog of a player

He's a bit "mercenary" and a more of a shin kicker than a footballer. Condolences there Pisti.

He should fit right in at Everton then. ;p
-
• #5049
He'll give you good, experienced defensive cover though, which you definitely need.

hope your not paying him as much as he was getting at west ham?
Yes. It was the ghost of Lee Harvey Oswald.
