I started running about 6 weeks ago after doing pretty much no proper exercise for a getting on a ten years. First time out doing a mile and a half I was completely bollocksed. I've been building up slowly, did my first 7 miles today in 68 minutes, very slow compared to most of you lot but I was fairly pleased. Finding myself getting a couple of injuries though, my hips feel sore most of the time when I'm running and I sometimes get a sharp pain on the outside of my knee (ligaments?) but I put this down, well maybe the first to drinking too much and my poor running technique.
