Yeah - I use a mac. You just plug it in.
Depends what you want to do but is recognised in iphoto and itunes etc as an external device - easy.
I did have to download something to get it to auto sycnh with itunes.
EDIT - i think you can do this with bluetooth / wireless too but I find it works best if you plug in.
