the iphone could probably be used to count rpm if you have it in your pocket whilst cycling
that would be an interesting app.

Strap it to the crank? Nice.

I review iPhone apps sometimes - never found a really good GPS cycling app, though. Battery life is a killer, too. Maybe the next model, or the model after, and it will become really practical for everyday.

On another note, my iPhone went off for a repair quote today. Everyone cross their fingers for me - if it can't be repaired I shall be straight on here, grumping it up.
