Haha, i've had a play with one already, rented one out once for a day, the only performance advantage I can see above using a D300 with grip is:
Slightly increased fps, faster autofocus (when tracking moving objects), and exceptionally better quality at higher ISO's.
I don't care so much about the first two, but the better IQ at higher ISO's would be extremely helpful for a lot of things seeing as I have started doing quite a few weddings these days, and i'm using little Nikon flashes so better IQ at higher ISO's enables me to keep good clean files whilst effectively increasing the reach of my flashes.
Anyhoo back to the bags!
