My recent build. I planned to put it together for my stepson (small 53 cm frame), but as it feels much bigger, perhaps I will keep it as a pub bike? :-) Right now my back hurst even when looking at it.
It's not finished yet, hence the non-drive side photo. I have to change the stem to a proper one (this one's weird and badly finished), fit more suitable silver chainset and a new chain, but I can't bend at the moment. Maybe change the rims to the silver Rigida, maybe change the colour scheme to simple black?
Feel free to rip it to shreds. I'm listening even to your ridiculous opinions, so you never know. I've managed to put it together thanks to ya'll in the first place. -

It looks very steep. If I haven't seen Flickwg in person, I'd think it was meant for Naomi Campbell :-) -

They did make a 60 though right?
One day.... or I might just get** Goff to knock me one up**
You might have to wait a while. The frame that I ordered in November and got fitted for in February is STILL not finished. I have basically given up on ever getting it. If it gets to the end of September, 7 months to build it really does take the piss, then I am gonna demand a refund.
Sorry, I'm gonna have to say it, Steve Goff is the slowest frame builder, I cannot recommend him :-(

Eeek. Mine's been done for a while! I do have the advantage of being able to pop round and bully him along though...
Is it the one with the hex tubing? -

How many frame Steve Goff make per year? you might as well go for Robin Mather!

Or just go to 14 and get a beautifully fillet brazed frame built by Lee cooper, I think the lead time is like 4-6 weeks?
Oh and they have some really cool custom fitting stuff in there as well to fit you for the frame :). -

Nope, I posted what I was after for the pug the last page or so.

Not sure black, or something that covers up the ugly welds, but then the pink panther looks great am tempted by a deep purple, a bit like an aubergine colour. I think that would look pretty great, but not sure whether i would build it with shiny silver components or black ones, to make it more understated.
Nooo! Don't paint it!! Just get the forks painted to match. That's a great colour.
And black of silver bits would work just as well on it. -

I agree, why lose the original paint and decals?
-
• #15396
Or ALL white forks maybe . . . .
-
• #15397
Or paint the frame to match the lovely job on the forks?
-
• #15398
the forks look good as they are. it's cool how they're black where the tire meets them.
-
• #15399
I think they go with the colour of the frame/decal quite well.

hey guys and girls, new to the forum and new to single speed after just buying a cheap one on ebay.
It was advertised as an "unknown lugged frame" and thats all i got, does anyone have an idea what frame this is? Its pretty light and yes its big but im kinda tall so all is good! i can take more pics if necessary. the red and black is a decent idea i suppose but considering the chain ring and pedals dont match the rest of the bike they are going to be shot of!
cheers

Thanks Skully. There is a front disc brake fitted, but I've taken the rotor off so it does not get damaged in transit. Solid is a good word for this bike, it's never broken or let me down in anyway and keeps me dry when the roads are wet. :^)
Yes, the 'guards are the 40 version. I've got 50s for my Peregrine and I hear the 60s suit balloon sized tyres!
