Most evenings are spent searching through ebay's offerings one night two weeks ago I stumble on this. Poor photos and an even porrer listing :-). After a couple of bids it was mine for a song.
This came from an old man's house who died a recluse. Most of his family had not seen him for years. Being a good club cyclist in his day he mainly rode in the Leeds area. After his death the family went round to clear out the house which was full of old bike's, the old man had died in his chair, there was not even a bed in the house. Just lots and lots of bike's, frames and box's of spares.
This was found in one of the room's still wrapped in brown paper with a BJ tag straight from the shop, in a box marked with Bob Jackson were all the parts. Still in their box's waiting to be built up. Thats how I got it last weekend with a box of bits and two sets of wheels, Mavic rimed and Campy record hubs. The rest was dumped in a skip....!!!
