Locks that work

Good thread this, I now need a new lock, due to the fact that some scrote had a go at my Abus Granit Plus.

Thankfully it held up and so two bikes didn't get nicked from my fire escape last night.

Think I'm gonna invest in an Almax chain for locking up at home and a Fahgeddaboudit mini for out and about...

you might want to have a look at the guys from torc-anchors as they have similar quality chains but as well less hefty ones for bike use. bought my a fine 11mil chain in the new long link design. it makes them a bit lighter compared to the Kryp Fah chains and the round boron steel they use is a bit tougher too. but feel free to go for 13mil or the new 16mil chain :)
