Won a rim on eBay, went to pay for it with paypal.
Had to change my card from the old cancelled one to my new Visa Debit card.
Now when I try to pay it says "You cannot pay with this card".
Which is inconvenient as it is the only debit card that I have, and I want to use it.
Anyone have any ideas?

Click 'pay with paypal' but don't log into your account.
Then you can pay with any card you like *

weird. This just happened to both me and my lady. Two separate accounts saying the same thing: " a third party may have accessed your account". Have had to re-verify both accounts which takes ages of you don't have a land line.
Total ball ache.

Cannot pay without logging in- does not give me that option- says that login is required.

I've found they are quite responsive and helpful by phone, believe it or not. They do seem to be on the ball security-wise lately. I sent almost $1k to someone earlier this year for goods not connected to Ebay, and I literally had just enough time to go take a leak and they were calling me to verify that I had indeed sent that money.

Hi All ,
If I placed cold hard cash into someones hand and asked them to make a payment via PAYPAL is there someone who could do it for me ?
I have just bought my next project from Holland and need to get the money to the chap.
Can anyone think of any risks involved in doing it this way from my point of view / the person helpings point of view.I am a trustworthy and long standing member of the forum who just got a very sweet bike and needs to get cash paid out ?
Any help would be much apprciated.
Regards
Dicki -

I bought a frame in Italy and asked my bank to transfer £ to euros, and they wanted £25 for the transaction. Just be warned.
I've just had mine locked in a "random security check" the cunts. I should clarify that last point, the fucking cunts.
