nice attitude you got there... i like all things Japanese, plus the rarity probably helps increase it's appeal, plus i think they look sexy as hell.. it looks like everything i look for in a track bike.
It seems like you don't know that much about what criteria a bike needs to fulfill to be "full NJS". I'd say that my track bike is about 80% NJS and that's as far as I'd ever take it.
I'm not going to run 80"+, brakeless, with tubs on the road. Certainly not in the winter, with my unsealed, non-cartridge bearing hubs/headset/bottom bracket. And I'm sure as hell not going to give up the security of clipless pedals on the track, only maintain my bike with the NJS tool kits (they exist), etc, just to prove a point.
Oh, and as for liking the colours, you can forget that for a start. If it isn't silver, it isn't NJS (with the exception of Dura-Ace lockrings, which are black).
