  • Tailed a guy yesterday from Kennington to the Sainsburys on Clapham High Street. Really nice looking bike, white frame, blue wheels, blue chain, blue grips, gold rear hub and one trouser leg rolled up (nice)

  • ^ Sounds like a Unipack...

  • ^ Sounds like a Unipack...

ha ha, that makes me look a twat then. Oh well.

But he did skid it without it falling apart. Now I think about it, it did sound like one of those push along lawnmowers while it rode along....

  • VeeVee crossing Tooting Common. Didn't holler as I was in the playground and feared the outcome of a loud shout out on the toddler population of Balham.

  • ^ yep,awesome place to ride a bike
I guess you've ridden there then! are there any parisian forumengers? I'm taking my bike back on the eurostar this sunday, in a homemade bike bag, and I can't WAIT. I've already broken two "bikes" belonging to the in-laws, and I can't wait to be spinning fixed with all that super smooth tarmac and roads a half mile wide :D

  • A Welshman in Chichester on a blue pompino

  • a bunch of fixie-skidder-tricksters on place de la bastille in paris. One guy riding pretty freaking tight circles around a plastic cup on the ground, backwards. Shortly afterwards, a girl wheeling a seriously hot pink bike with black deep v's or similar down rue de la roquette, where I was propping up a bar. And I've decided to move to paris, because it is actually the perfect city in which to ride a bike. Fact.

Actually, I'm just loved up cos I had a really nice ride across the city.

You'll regret it. Lived there for 9months and don't miss the place one bit!

  • pistanator on LBridge south bound yesterday evening, alright matey...

and dale outside V&A on thursday.

What bike were you on mate, looked sharp

I used to live there, can't wait to go back. Horses for courses, I guess.

  • Great food & wine
    Great restaurants
    Good to ride around
    Lots of places of interest
    Hot chicks with natural style

    Rudest cunts on the planet

  • Paris is boring, have family there I don't visit!

  • It's ace for the first 6 weeks then yes, it is boring. Tiny city once you've ridden around it....

Oh sorry I missed you! I was busy watching out for little kid on a bike ahead of me and the buggy parked across the cycle path and the roadie spinning along. I was on my way to HH / Prince Regent.

  • Spotted, almost every day I'm riding to work (today excepting as I'm off work nursing a cold):

Black guy, riding a black and red edwardes track bike, front brake, drops, dustmask. That dude has style. We're always going the opposite direction to each other - when I'm heading north he's heading south, and vice versa, and I only ever see him on the south side of the river. Next time I'm going to wave, whoever you are.

  • flickwg and fred by Holborn station whilst I was walkengering

  • I've made really nice vegan version with cashews , I got inspired after having it for brakefast almost everyday last time i went to the states.
    Are you vegan, Scrapper?

  • A good chunk of the forum trackies, not ten minutes ago, in Herne Hill. Taking over one of my locals. Tut. Oh and an afternoon of hipsters there too. All wearing ray bans and checked shirts. All refusing to DAS.

  • Oh and an afternoon of hipsters there too.

Is that the new collective noun? Because they refuse to get out of bed earlier?

  • Oliver, it would have taken hours to co-ordinate the wayfarers and shirts. RPM had a field day.

  • it was awesome, identikit hipster game. match the bike to the rider.

lets see..grips and saddle in colours only meant for children or leroy's legwarmers in "fame" yep, that'll belong to the human sporting the lumberjack shirt and white raybans. etc

  • I bet they all looked like hardcore trackies.

    No?

  • @ Oliver,
yes, he is. Scrapper I mean. Vegan. Yes.

  • the trackies and hipsters were at different times, but they all looked the same to my old rheumy eye
