My work-in-progress beater - a late 60s/early 70s Claud Butler Olympic:

The Cooks cranks are only on there so that I could build it up and have a ride. I'll be replacing anything that's shiny or vaguely nice looking with a dull and preferably rusty equivalent, and I'll be adding mudguards, a rack and maybe some of those massive EverReady lights from the 80's to make it as unattractive and unobtrusive as possible when its locked up in town/at the station.

Will probably still get nicked, though. Fans of delicious irony should no doubt keep an eye on the 'stolen bikes' thread over the coming months.
