What do you look for in a pedal?

Lilly, like I said, sealed mean the inside of the pedal is protected by the elements (unsealed mean the pedal run smoother but not protected), i.e. stop dirt from getting inside and wearing out the ball bearing thus shorten the lifespan of a pedal.
