A lot of you lot must enjoy chewing on instant coffee because many of you seem to find the bitter taste of failure far too palatable for my liking.

Having to ask for help getting home on a bike ride is an admittance of failure and should only be done in the most extreme of circumstances. Whether in the urban jungle or riding over a 4000m pass in Asia. It's still a failure.

Much like asking for directions when lost a man should always be able to improvise their way out of the situation. Failing to do so is a failure.

There is no such thing as a small failure. You win or you fail and by having to get home by using another form of transport other than your own legs, you fail.

If I were you I would have walked home carrying my bike as penance for what I had done.

This thread would deserves to be in the epic fail thread but it represents such a failure it dose not even deserve the recognition that being posted in there would bring.
