Found out my injury wasnt really acl but a mixture of tearing probably mostly on the meniscus. It was har dfor them to tell because I got scanned 4 months late and it had quite luckily started to heal itself.
But I do have missing cartilage which is unusual for a 25 year old (wonder if its because of cycling?)
The only thing physio was able to recommend is balancing thigh muscles to improve tracking to help it heal better. Ive been training it fanatically and have built up a nice bulge of muscle on the inner thigh where i had non before. Knee is still sore often and somewhat unstable but is definetely improving.
Im actually quite looking forward to seeing how fast I can run with all this new muscle power.
