Kiyo Miyazawa is one of the most highly revered of the Japanese keirin framebuilders. He learned much of his craft studying under Rossin and other Italiam framebuilders, and employs many Italianesque details in his frame designs, including lugs (similar to early Colnago), frame geometry, and finish. His current waiting list is in excess of two years for a custom built, fully equipped keirin cycle.

what a set up.... i must admit after getting my reminton, the more engrossed in this part of cycling i have become, i watched the video of tomity today, speaking on the his and the sports history, soul bro soul - awesome...

I will consider myself corrected then, both about the rims and the number of builders he apprenticed to.

While the NJS thing is cool to a point, I just can't be bothered with it (personally). I ride clipless pedals, a saddle that is bearable to sit on and wheels that I'm not afraid to commute to the track, so my Kiyo fails the NJS test on a few levels.

It is worth pointing out, however, that although my Kiyo isn't as "legit" as that one, it is red, so it goes faster.
