An SE Lager, more sinfulness here.
Fuckin Jesus! Why do people do it??! :-$
Dunno what's more cringeworthy, the bike or him thinking "Yes, I'll take the pic in front of my shed cos the wheels match"

Biggest shame ever. There's a Super Record 6speed gruppo weeping somewhere right now.
http://www.dogmatic.be/check/moser_fixie2.jpgwhat exactly is wrong with this :S ? i like it!

^ i guess its the fact that it would be better built as a road bike?... maybe the white ourys... white V's...
TBH I think it seems to work reasonably well - its not porn, but not exactly anti in my understanding of the word....
...and considering I usaly hate over colour cordiation I think its been used pretty well here.

^ puppies have been killed.
Top quality road frame converted to fixed using pretty poor/generic components. Plastic toeclips are ultimate fail. -
• #5132
Oh... i thought puppy killing was only once you file off the braze on's and respray...
... the toe clips aren't great, but over all I think its fine. Its hardly in the same league as the rest of this page.
Edit: just saw the red chain... hummm...

My bad, you're right, i think a puppy kill is an irreversible modification.
That things just ugly. -

just get a bmx
far from anti. baremetal frames with logos are pure sex.
Not the place for a bmx/fixed tricks argument so don't go there or crazy james will come get you.
Needs gurney straps instead of holdfasts, other than that its just peachy. -

I don't think using old school track frames etc. for fixed tricks makes sense, but if its built for the purpose you want (and the ^volume is) I don't see a prob...
... but I still don't get why fixed trickers don't just buy old MTB frames and run 700s? - not knocking them, just would have thought that a lower sloping TT and tough frame would be best.

ahhhh here we go again ;)
it used to be mine and the plastic toeclips were temporary as was the red chain.
the color coordination was just a bit of fun. fun, remember that?
found the frame+cranks+seatpost+saddle for 50 euros and wanted to go over the top with the color coordination. for the fun of it. -

i dislike the hole idea of progressing of fixie riding. i like the tricks that can really only be done on fixies (keo spins etc) but i just in my ideas if you put a freewheel on you arnt really doing anything that hasnt been done.

mate I don't think its anti - I actualy think it works pretty well... but I don't think your allowed to have 'fun' with bikes.
i just in my ideas if you put a freewheel on you arnt really doing anything that hasnt been done.
- not saying use freewheels, I've just always thought old mtb's which were designed to be tough would be better for tricks?

When that was built, there were plenty of people who would have considered it the ne plus ultra of bike porn

And that's going straight into the porn thread.
Yeah, I'd prefer it to have PDM-737 and perhaps a bit more Ringlé (if not the stem, perhaps just Ringlé hubs laced to 217CDs) but that is just being picky.

A friend of a friend is having a clear out and has some Spin road wheels for sale apparently. I'm deciding not to buy them.
Back in the day I always wanted one of those Ringle bottle cages!
