  • I spotted a beautiful pink and chrome Santini single speed with a lady on it today, and I did a 180 on my silver/blue multi-speed to chat to said lady on said frame. She pulled forward to chat and we got hollered at when the lights changed. Lovely bike too; she said her friend had just built it for her. I wondered if it was someone on here who'd done it. Then she rode off into the city...

On Cable Street? Or just a coincidence?

Not sure if my quote thingy will work, but lets try again. Said holler was mine that interupted said mojo, many apologies. Though Sir TeeTee, that WAS a beautiful frame!!! So shiney and sparkily. And i did appreciate the interaction - i thought about it the whole way to work and felt bad that i had been so rude.

But that said process makes my point. I think boy-girl interactions shouldnt be frowned upon. BUT brutish behaviour should be discouraged.
If you ever have the chance to have someone pay you attention, it is a lovely thing and others should not be disapproving. Or spotted pretty girl on pretty bike (sorry pretty bike ridden by pretty girl). If its rude and derogatory - Annihilate them!!!

BTW - its a pleasure seeing another member even if we are yet to meet.
