  • Just for comparison, I briefly had a pair of the Bontrager OS Womens road bars too. They were suprisingly light, which was a bonus, but I returned them pretty quickly because I found them overlyshort and shallow for me. I think that this is maybe related to the fact that a lot of big-brand womens-specific stuff tends to suit petite and average height women (5ft 4" in the UK) very well, but doesn't really cover the awkward ground of when someone is taller than that, but still narrow shouldered/small handed.

    In terms of OS bars I'm pretty happy with the bars on my road bike (40cm ritchey wcs, not womens-specific), which are bargainous in the flood sale at CRC at the moment.

    Edit - that's quite confusing and sounds a bit ranty. I guess what I'm trying to say is there seems to be a lot of variation between the fit in womens-specific stuff, so yeah, look closely at the specs.
