Epic win

Today I win, for once. My beloved, three year old iMac went dead suddenly last week. Just taken it to the Apple shop's so-called genius bar and they told me the motherboard is fried. "Bum" I thought, "that's bad". £700+ repair that effectively writes off the whole thing.

BUT they have put it through on my extended Applecare that expired last month. Free of charge. Fucking have it.

okay now I'm a bit scared about my iMac, it's also nearly 3 years old (first Intel one from the government for free), while I'm perfectly happy with it, it's already showing sign that it's about to give up the ghost.

methinks I should've gotten those extended Applecare in the end.
