  • Amazing to see someone can master it so quickly, that video has made me give up my fixed tricks career.

  • career?.... i thought you said it was only temporary.

i'm still concentrating on my childhood ambition to be a rhino when i grow up.

  • it was a secret until now

  • He just dicked all over every other fixed gear trick rider I've seen, maybe 700CMX could actually go somewhere.

  • And he's doing it on a £350 Mongoose.

  • Oooh, Westbury White Horse, thats near where I grew up. I was up there at Christmas, I got vertigo looking down on the thing, that is steep.

  • Tell Winston that!

he has, tuesday night that car park will be full of boys crying onto their vans fixed

  • Prolly will be crying himself to sleep tonight, that's for sure.

  • Transferable skills!

    As steep as Calshot?...Pfff!

Seriously, amazing skill level here, especially if he truely is a newcomer to fixed, but you haven't seen me slowing down whilst indicating yet have you?

  • As steep as Calshot?...Pfff!

Actually, no, from what Ive heard. I was getting confused between fucking steep, and fucking high.

  • there was a big article on him in singletrack magazine, issue 50,
might be able to find in on their web- www.singletrackworld.com

he was going on about how he's got into riding trials brakeless, ie not even fixed. 'everything pointing down is acceleration and everything pointing up is deceleration'...

  • Most of the time at trixie dix, people spend all their time trying to do a proper wheelie while chris already can do it fine.

now your usual trixie dix seemed like a brunch of kids on their BMX at South Bank.

    U eats da childrans?

    :(

  • One of my personal beefs with fixed tricks up until now was how ungainly the bike looks being so big. He just removed all that, he made that look better than 26" at the skatepark.

  • I usually don't care for tricks on bikes, but that certainly had me engrossed.

  • Yeah, it's ok. I'd still rather watch bmx or mtb vids.
The thing that makes it better than every other fixieskidderkiddiefillum is Gimme Some Lovin'.

  • Nice!

  • I agree with Hippy, but also with Hoops' initial comment. Trix on fix aint my bag, but he's got that effortless skill about him. Nice post Scott.

  • That was great, some of the trials tricks done on a fixed.

I love it when such good acrobats use bikes.

Danny MacAskill is surely next to go fixed. ;)

The UK cat has been well and truly been set amongst the US pigeons...

Dudes. He kills shit. He's better than everyone. Seriously. He just sonned all of us.

                                                                                   Posted by prolly

not only did this guy son you all, no offense, but he cleared the floor and started a new level. everything was excuted greatly and to top it off he was strapless. this guy is a league of his own, literally. tom nor wonka could match him not even miller. damn what the fuck just happened i feel confused. thats how absurd that video was. he is years away.

                                                                                   Posted by what the fuck

  • for the non profesional in the matter, who is him? or what he normally ride? a bit a background in a couple of lines, please

From when ive known the name Chris Akrigg, he was an mtb trials rider, and a damn good one at that. just has an immense amount of skill on a bike.

that video is prime though! love it.
i can just about pop a wheelie! haha

  • about time he switched his skills.
    +1 to the theme tune

  • HAHA loving it.

A guy comes from the world of trials and basically does the stuff that most fixed tricks riders could only dream of. And he can actually do a decent twisted endo without brakes ... first guys I seen do that without jamming his foot in the wheel.

Better than ever fixed vid ever and he has only just started.

I like the proper riding along walls like a real trials rider and the decent hops. Especially loved the bit where he hopped on the wall and used the pedal to complete the hop up.

Love it, just confirmed everything I thought about every fixed trickster ........
