snoops, "girl" is far more offensive. the connotations suggest weakness and non self reliance. a woman is what i am. i have reached puberty and i am strong and autonomous..yeah...wooo that's when we all break into "all the women, independent..." ..erm no actually we don't do that..i guess it all depends on how it's said doesn't it too...sorry i am VERY hungover..

• #2506

bollocks i'd just got confused..anyone up for grass polo tourney???
we need to get the oxford/mcr trophy back!
Nice one, thanks Nes!
I'm not up for another couple of weeks. Just excited about foreign
polo adventures.
Actually, I'm also supposed to ask you whether you'd be game to send a
team or two down for a grass polo mini-tournament at this year's Bike
Blenheim Palace event on 4 October. Apparently it will be in an
arena of some sort, with the possibility of hundreds if not thousands
of spectators. We're trying to ideally get a team each from London,
Cambridge and Manchester. We can even play for the Oxford-Manchester
trophy! There won't be any proper grass polo players there, all
hardcourt people, and apparently the grass will be good and short, so
it won't be too different from polo as we know it, hopefully.
I don't know if you're still in touch with Dan Harris, but he's the
main organizer. I can provide more details when I see you in a couple
of weeks, too. Anyway, just putting it out there for you to think
about/talk to others about.Take care,
Corey -
