think GA2G's point about LBS price matching should be repeated. I am all about helping the local guys. yes you can find a big national store that will match prices, but first ask your LBS if they can match (or even just improve on their marked prices). often, they simply can't squeeze their margins like the big guys and/or internet shops - but no harm in asking

Both Cyclesurgery and Evans will price-match to internet prices (companies physically based in the UK), if corrobarating evidence is shown - a photocopy of the online item with its price included will do.

Many LBS's will price match to local (same city) shops. Just ask.
