  • WTF, stop bumping old threads, go here and here, and say something useful

  • I´m completely inspired by Klein´s colour schemes whenever I think about painting my bikes.... lush.

  • they don't offer an International Klein Blue

  • they don't offer an International Klein Blue

That is the only known example of a post-modernist art joke.

  • nice to see these bikes again actually, never owned one but the paint jobs were simply stunning. Theres an Attitude on sale near me, been there ages because lets face it if you ride MTB now why would you want to ride one of these? fairly crap compared to modern bikes. retro has its place and I guess nostalgias not what it used to be (boom boom)

    Where/how much?

  • bournemouth, £400 he wants, has a purple respray but the frame is pukka and compenents o.k.

  • One of the best Klein websites, several amazing collections of multicolour madness:

  • that is gorgeous.

id love one of the road bikes in gatorfade. im gonna be keeping my eye out for kleins from now on.

I'd think upgrading the component to modern day standard would be fine.

  • @vinylvillain

  • There's a guy in Cambridge doing some amazing resprays on Kleins.

  • Personally these days i'd rather get a Storck rebellion.
Marcus Storck was a former klein employee who went it alone when Gary Klein sold out.
    Now THIS is porn!

  • want

  • that really is a lovely looking bike and going back to gabes post in December Vadeboncoeur is an awesome name.

  • Pre Trek Kleins were the shit. Klein mmm Cook Bros bits mmm Ringle bits mmm Flite Ti mmm

  • I assume you mean trek Kleins were shit? Pre trek ones were awesome bikes!

  • I'm a still a blg fan of rigid mtbs. But i can't compare much beacause i don't have alot of experience of suspension.

  • best blues ever!!!

  • If memory serves me well I have gone through 8 Kleins (!!!!!) I still have a Klein Attitude at the moment.

Light, stiff, fast, agile, they have all been great and they have all been stolen.

    Here is my current one:

Love the Klien with the Pace forks. Beautiful!

  • ive just gone through the french klein road bike thread, holy shit thats an anal weight weenie build. i could never be arsed with all that poncing about saving 5 grams here and there, but an ultralight bike that looks that good is certainly hardcore bike porn.

  • Such a shame what happened to the brand. We need some visionary at Trek who is happy with Trek and Fisher and Bontrager to occupy the mass market to resurrect Klein as a true artisan high end brand. They were THE bike to own I must admit I sill lust after one even now. They still look current and were ahead of their time, so everything else has now nearly caught up. PS - any decent Kleins for sale?
