the issue was with the OP's use of "in the market for" and associated conceit about what amounts to a simple, cheap consumable.
of course the service shouldn't reflect the price, but let's stay within the realms of sensibility, You wouldn't expect to have a "conversation" with the guy behind the counter of the petrol station about "maybe being in the market" for a packet of Toffos "in a couple of weeks" Or maybe you would...
actually that sounds like a bit of fun
