I've not seen Ayup lights myself but have heard a lot of positive things about them. I use Dinotte myself but they are hard to find now in the UK.
One major thing to consider is if you want to go for a proprietary battery pack, which I think the Ayup's have, or go for standard rechargeable batteries like the Dinotte and Hope lights use.
