BiggerBounce
this is the man who started it all - search for 'Teenslain' on here, he'll be more than happy to talk to you about 'back in the day'
also check out 'Mr Nice Guy' as he is on the absolute cutting edge of new frame development
there's a member on here called 'Wapping Warrior' who is seen to be a bit of a player on the scene
and I think 'Paul-Michel' would be good to contact, his breadth of knowledge is encyclopedic and is held in high regard by the whole community
Can't com you but would if I could. :)

Hi! I´m also new to the marvellous forum you have here. Live quite a long way from London tbh, in Tallinn, Estonia in particular. Reason for me to join, was that i`m currently exploring the best ways to go about building myself a fixie and i shall hopefully find the best advice here.
cheers,
Jaanus
Tere! I go to Tallinn quite a lot, let me know if you want me to bring you parts that are hard to find in Estonia.

Hello gang.
I live in Norf Landon, just recently weaned myself off of my gears by getting a Charge Plug Racer which is really fun to ride. Probably gonna get some different wheels and tires, money permitting. Freewheeling at the moment, fixie scares me around town but am getting used to it more and will keep pluggin'.
Wanna get a smaller rear cog and take it to Herne Hill and go realy fast too. -

Hi,
Doing a 50/50 split at the mo between N.Wales (home) and London (work), so have been pounding my pompino on the streets. Gearing is a bit low at the mo as it was set up to deal with N. Wales - still I'm first away from the lights :-) . I think I have one of the only fixies in N. Wales (as soon as I have posted this I bet loads of people will come out of the woodwork...), and until I moved to London for work didn't realise how much of a scene it was down here - that's the price you pay for living on the periphery of Europe I guess.
Hoping that drooling over endless bike porn won't make me go blind - or is that just an urban myth?

Hello there, not sure If I should really be here but my motives are sound in my opinion.
I ride a single spped though it isnt neccesserely for onroad use. I don't exactly live in London nor do I live particularily (sorry cant spell) close to London, but Luton (where Im from) gets assciated with London quite alot for some reason. I joined up because this place has a great atmosphere and alot of knowlageful and friendly (seeming) users who Im sure I could learn alot from.
Luton is an easy train journy to London so Im sure in future if I cant get some tips on locations Ill be coming to visit quite regualr like. I have posted me up in the 'names to bikes' thread already so people know what im riding.
So really Im just looking to meat some people who enjoy what I enjoy and who I may ultimatly be able to learn from and/or ride with.Matt

Hola folks!
A newcommer from Denmark just arrived!
Be kind 2 me guys, new into the game!Velkommen! Denmark is awesome. Copenhagen looks like the perfect cycling city - wish I'd had a bike when I visited, what a waste. Was saying just the other day how much I've always wanted a Christiania bike - and when I've got kids, they can sit in the front :)

im also a 'newbe' here

i ride a peugeot racer around bristol
not a single speed but getting there- just need a few more parts before making the change
'Pistanator' is worth talking to about how he's trying to bridge the gap between the North/South divide that was prevalent at the beginning of the phenemenon, he's done a lot of work in calming that down and creating a closer sense of community
