for anyone coming through on the 22nd, there's a train at 9.42 from Piccadilly, change at leeds, get into Skipton at 11.24, or a better bet, Oxford Road at 10.07,change at leeds, gets in at 12.07. last train back leaves skipton at 22.18, but anyone who wants to is welcome to stay at mine. I did the route the other day, and it's stunning. I think it's good practise for the tour of the peak, if we go down to ilkley and do the cow and calf. Malham Cove is NEARLY as bad as Winnats - it was bloody painful anyroad.
