  • You know the ones, those rare ones, the ones that are a far off dream, the ones that are too expensive, the ones that will complete the collection...

Mine is a Cannondale Track in Blue of course with the original forks.

  • cinelli pista in cherry red 58 - 59 cm with the chrome lugs

    anyone ?

  • London Langster with double aerospokes

  • hella yeah forgot about those
    screw the cinelli

  • Lugged ti track frame disguised with old school paint and built with old parts.
    Any old tandem at all.

  • I'd quite like a cargo bike (xtracycle or big dummy).

But more importantly somewhere to store it!! ;)

  • Hope to own both of these at some point.

    Cinelli Supercorsa Pista

    3Rensho Super Record Export

  • +1 the green Cinelli super corsa, I have a picture of that right in front of my eyes by my studio desk. Forget about dreams of tropical islands, I'll settle for that thank you very much. Oh and a 1978 left hand gear change black and gold Ducati 900SS but I'm on the wrong forum for that.

  • I'll get my coat.

  • I'm with Dicki, the Cinelli in green and a geared Mercian.

Other than that, I'm currently riding around on my dream build, a pale metallic blue Bob Jackson ;)

  • I'd quite like a cargo bike (xtracycle or big dummy).

Yeah I was looking at the big dummy the other day. Looks like great fun, especially with a passenger. Although if I was going to get a cargo bike, it'd have to be a Christiania.

  • Oh, and this for weekend jaunts to the coast with the girl. You've killed me fackin' scootah!

    me too

  • Cinelli Supercorsa Pista

    mercian geared tourer

moots roadbike, or one of these http://www.hipsternascar.com/2008/07/zabels-colnago.html

  • Maybe it's me but I'm happy with what I got at the moment.

However wouldnt mind doing up my Honda 50CC.

  • i'd like a geekhouse at some point.

  • and this..............

  • Other than that, I'm currently riding around on my dream build, a pale metallic blue Bob Jackson ;)

Exactly how I feel about my Bob Jackson. It still makes me smile when I look at it, and even more when I ride it.

I'm in the process of building up a fully rigid SS 29er, based on a lightweight handbuilt steel frame, loads of carbon, and the gates belt drive. Should have the same smile inducing effect.

Even the utility bike makes me smile, its pretty ugly with its bulky alu cycloX frame, cheapo+misplaced MTB groupset, mudguards/panniers/child seat fixings/trailer fittings etc. etc. But it means I can spend a larger proportion of my travel time in a bike saddle :)

I dont yet own a proper road bike though, and part of me is holding back for the dream bike.
The dream bike, would be Colnago with a really over-the-top colourway.

  • Ideally i would like a E.M/Colnago/Pinarello/Cinelli/Geekhouse

But realistically i would like something that fits (none of my previous/current bikes do) and allows me to feel as if i can do mile upon mile without getting all hunched up and sore

  • a burls..

  • I've owned pretty much every bike i've wanted at some point, so i'd like to get back all the bikes i've sold over the years...especially my S-Bike...my Pace rc200 F8...my 29er...but most of all, my Pugsley....god i miss that bike!

oh....and my Big link which was stolen. :(

  • ooh....and i'd LOVE to own a Jeff Jones 29er space frame with fat fork....or even better, the one with front and rear fatties :)

  • Exactly how I feel about my Bob Jackson. It still makes me smile when I look at it, and even more when I ride it.

me too, even more once I sort out the saddle issue mind.

by a strange dramatic turn of events, the new bob jackson audax-cum-70's-road bike I build for my father have become my dream road bike already after riding it for a while, for fuck sake!

    anyway back in topic.

unrealistic dream - lugged bob jackson with titanium lug and tubing, well I did said unrealistic.
