g sport cassette thingy ^ can't seem to find any of their front hubs in 48H anymore though.....shame.

James, you're way off mark on that. Much though I love G-Sport (and use one of their front hubs on my polo bike) the ratchets have tiny cogs at the back, trying to get a suitable ratio would involve a tiny cog at the front. Too much torque and an expensive mistake.

Now if you'd said NOS G-Sport homer with 10mm axle (respaced to 120) then I'd have agreed with you.
