  • I think that is too extreme, remember people also live in the central, so that mean truck are restricted to a specific time of days, says midnight where there is less traffic, but the problem is that it will cause a lots of disturbance to the local who live near the busy route.

That's why I said that only hgvs that have killed or injured someone. You'd still be able to get HGVs in london, just not the one's that are cunts. (the timing of HGVs throughs up alsorts of other problems)

the best solution is to change the law that the drivers is automatically at fault when they have a collision with a cyclists, unless proven otherwise, this way the drivers will drive with more caution that the law is no longer on their side (to an extend).

Although as a cyclist I love this idea, it's not going to happen until there are more people who consider themselves "cyclists" than people who consider themselves "drivers". And to be fair if a cyclist goes up the inside of an HGV (or even if they pull up in front of an HGV after over taking it) it's not the HGVs fault if they get crushed. I've seen it at work in Holland, it means loads of cyclists cycling like blind idiots.

Bill I'm afraid that the BMJ have had alsorts of articles suggesting things that the majority of people wouldn't contimplate, that is one of them.
