What makes someone a hipster... or not?

I think I am grumpy, because on Saturday I got an offer from a spectular specimen of a girl (whom I quite fancy), but knocked it back because I have a gf.
How do you get over something like this?

Tell the gf about the other offer and see if she'll match it?
