Ed, I guess you probably did, but you didn't say anything about it, so don't slap me for asking this...
When the saddle changes shape, there's a tensioner nut underneath the nose to re-stretch the leather, keeping the saddle nice and supportive. Were you not using it, or you saying you did re-tension but the saddle still sagged down to the metal anyway?
It's just you're the first Brooks owner I've heard say that.
usually it be months, even year before you resorted to tensioning the leather, not weeks!
