Cleggy from Attila may just be picking the designs out of a Taiwan catalogue but he knows works works and what doesn't
That's because he is a fucking beast. I've ridden with him and I still cannot believe some of the shit he pulled.

Yeah sorry. These only work with BMX style platforms with holes in the sides.
Some plastics have small covering at these points that can easily be cut/smashed out but some metal ones do not have the required gap such as Gusset Slim Jim's.You can get plastics from about 10 pounds.
I can compile a list of workable pedals if people want.
What pedals can you recommend...

I read that if you want to use these on Odyssey Twisted (or similar) BMX platform pedals, that you have to cut/dremel/smash out the side pieces in the gaps, in order to properly mount the straps. Is this true? If so, that's a minus for me. I like running plastic pedals, since they are way better for pedal grinds. Anybody have any experience with this?

You won't have any problems using these with plastic BMX pedals.
If the straps don't fit just file the slots wider.

Most of the high end pedals such as the profile gas and the macneil ones should work pretty well to as they have heavily milled out sections through the side, so plenty of room for straps :)
What pedals can you recommend...

Ive bought some of these to fit the straps onto.

Think they should work okay? Ive had a set of the original DMR V12's for coming up to ten years. Such nice pedals, I think they've been on 5 bike set ups now.

Jol, they are genius! If I had any need for some, I would put my name down for a pair, but I don't so I won't :-)
Good to see you again today, we must mix polo with track, a PolTrack event of some sort

Anybody else seen these?
Wow, they are pretty similar to mine. Can't believe Prolly is claiming I ripped HF. Totally different design that I have been working on for over 6 months.
I have posted a comment but we'll see if it gets through. ;)
I do still feel though that people will buy things that look good as well as work well, and from the feedback from people, I think my straps tick both boxes.

Jol - Just a quick question:
Have you had any feedback from people using gurney straps for long distance riding? I ask as my pair will be going on my tourer which will be racking up some ridiculous milage next year. No doubt being adjustable and with a bit of give there shouldn't be any float/knee death issues to worry about, just thought i'd ask. Cheers. -

I'm releasing them as they are made BF.
Will start at the top of the list.edmunro - Don't know about long distance per-se but everyone I have given them to rides their bike as their main bike. I'd imagine James, Hassanr and Max have put some miles on em.
I guess that BMX platforms would prevent 'hotspots' that occur with clipless and the straps are comfy and allow the foot to 'float' a little.Maybe you could give me some feedback. No green as yet sorry.

The longest i've done in one hit on these straps is around 40 miles, but I usually clock up a minimum of 40-50 miles every week, so the straps get ridden every day for everything, tricks/commuting, you name it.
They are mega comfy, way comfier than clips/straps, and the only time I ever had one come undone was when I hit the side of a white van and my foot slid down his tyre, even then I think half of that strap still managed to stay fastened, which I was pretty impressed with :)
New to the forum... My first word here!
Love these, I and so need a pair!
