  • London polo in the New York Times!

Games take place several times throughout the week, at several off-the-beaten-path locations. In South London, games happen from 7 p.m. until sundown on Wednesdays at Newington Gardens, off of Harper Road (Southwark, SE1; Elephant & Castle tube stop); and in North London, from 7 p.m. to sundown on Tuesdays and Thursdays at Downham Road and Ufton Road, near Islington in DeBeauvior (N1, 20-minute walk from Angel tube stop, Northern Line), and also at a court about a mile north on a small street called Mitchison Road in Islington (N1, 15-minute walk from Highbury & Islington tube stop, Victoria Line).

An astonishing level of detail for the New York Times that is sure to stimulate polo tourism. ;)
