Other thing I found was that I never knew when I was unclipped or not cos there's no positive 'unclip' action, so sometimes I'd try and put my foot down and....well you can imagine (and the whole of Wests saw...)...Not so suitable for fixed gear riding methinks.
Classic moment.
Nearly happened to me last week when I was trying out Richie's BJ with his shoes (SPD).
It was tense.

My ex's bmx. Eurrggh. I even told him at the time when we was living together NOT TO!
That is vile, it baffles me that some people have no idea about colour palettes :(
The only way he could justify having that setup is if he was employed as one of these:http://www.tonybones.com/kids_parties/images/Clown-Master.jpg

Exactly. I know some of the parts there are brilliant, but he should have gone for a colour theme :/

Yes. Probably repost too.
And to answer your unnecessary wall message, it's the wheels and the gold components that ruin the end result. It's hardly a personnal attack on your person, is it?

As horrible as the wheels and gold plating are, the frame is still the worst thing about it

Well, you could easily just nick that blue Vivalo if the idiot that owns it insists on locking it up with that cheap aluminium lock*.
*assuming, of course, that the lock is one of those cheap aluminium ones I saw online.

That blue Vivalo... One minute of silence please! Spoke beads! Haven't seen these since nursery... "Spoke beads that add noise and colour to a childs cycling experience"

I'm sure I've read here that they're not as secure as other clipless, and bc of the extra forces with fg riding so weren't as good.
But as I've never used them and use clips, I could well be wrong.
I've personally broken them when stopping. Good news is that you still have two usable interfaces (instead of 4) on the broken pedal.
They'd unclip if I was riding really aggresively, but honeslt this wasn't much more of a problem than with my SPDs.
Now I just ride MKS doubles.

every day i forget this Mr.Blobby impersonator is our Major! Jesus what happened, Ken was not an angel but he spoke fact's,
I never saw Ken pretending to ride a bike, he either walked, got a lift or bused it, Mr.blobby here has jumped on the David Cameron bandwagon of using a bike so people think he gives a fuck about the environment and his health, if the BNP said their policy was good for the environment Boris would go round chasing minorities with a Stick, but only when the cameras were on. -

You know nothing. Boris was cycling around town when he was a humble back bencher and Dave just a boy with a dream. I saw him riding it up St Martin's Lane before either of them was elevated to his current status.
I imagine he took up cycling because you can't get busted for having your car in some other bird's drive if your bike is parked out of sight round the back. It is well known that the bicycle was the greatest boon to philanderers of its age, a fact often remarked upon by the racier music hall turns.
