I think you should go back to the original setup, it's closer to a normal road bike bar. Ride with it for a bit (and I don't mean to the shops and back). See if you get used to it. You'll probably find you 'stretch-out' a bit the more riding you do.
If you still feel the bars are wide then move down to some 40cm anatomic road bars (there are plenty and they're cheap). That way your changing one thing at a time rather than fucking up by fitting deep drop keirin bars!
:0
(BTW i have nothing against keirin drop bars)
Thanks for the advice. I'm going to actually do that rather than sit around wondering what to do.
them's wise words
them's wise words
them's wise words!
them's wise words!
You must really think they're wise words!
Or you could swap your 54 with my 52, mine's a touch to small for me
Interesting suggestion, what's your current setup? Might be worthwhile arranging a test ride on each others' bikes.
Just so you know.
the B123 are Nitto standard track bar that are deep.
the B125 are basically the same as above but with a less deep drop.
B123;
B125;
I think if you like the Nitto, check out the B125 out, it's perhaps more to your liking.
Hmm.... That's handy to know but I think that just makes the whole matter more confusing.
