Im getting them dirty now, taking off the cloth tape, the amount of dust that is coming out... ewww Sorry if this is a n00b question, but what can I use to take the glue from the cloth tape off, and polish the headset/handlebars?

Barbecue lighting fluid is best by far....no scratching either.
