I bought this lovely, rustless Raleigh mixte frame to build into a singlespeed for my GF, without checking the size properly. Sod's law, it's a bit too big for her.
Undaunted, I've progressed with the build and this is where she stands today. Most of the bits have come from the forum - wheels, tyres, cranks, bars and stem. I've added one brake, need another for the back, and have a pair of levers to replace the tired chrome ones on the bars at the moment. The Raleigh threaded BB was a nightmare to get hold of but i found a chap in Norfolk who imports replacements which was a result.
The paintwork is original, a pearlescent green. The decals were crappy so I've taken those off.
I'm going to try to get hold of an old brown sprung Brooks saddle and some silver cage pedals and call it finished. I have fought the temptation to re-lace the rear rim to a proper track hub.
