I am looking for a seatpost if anyone has any spares or owt they want to sell.

27.2 and Aero... and not 'Carbon' aero but 'old school' aero! pref Campag or Shimano but would take anything at the mo as I am desperate... I need the slight layback see.

I'm not sure what you mean by aero, but I do have an old road seatpost that is "flat" at the top. I don't use it as it is too short.

If by 'Flat' you mean it is squeezed in a bit at the top then I guess you mean it looks like this right? If so and it is 27.2 ill take it!

If all the above is correct could you tell me how long it is in length and also how much do you want?

@ aeronaught looks like that, I'll measure it in a bit, I think it's 250mm long (?), that sort of design.

I had this problem with the length - I have a lovely aero dura-ace waiting for a new frame as it's too short for the present one, so I got one of these as a good alternative - tis a nice post:

Hmmm, seems to be discontinued or out of stock everywhere. If I were you I'd keep an eye on eBay, I've seen a couple go on there. Otherwise...

Sorry it took so long, turned the house upside-down re-doing the kitchen and have been on a course for the last two days. Anyhow, it's not marked as a particular brand and clamp to min insertion line is 15 cm. Bought it off the bay, can't have been much more than a 5er originally so not bothered about reddies for it. How can you collect? I'm in south b'ham and mostly free for the next two days - prolly in town tomorrow if that helps.
