  • I would look into it and get all the facts straight then argue that you were the more financially lucrative employee becasue a) the incentive b) tax breaks c) you'd be more likely to stay than a hearing employee due to appreciating being a supportive and fair envirionment and thus one that investing in they would have a higher chance of benefiting from that investment. And that with the subsidised equipement your productivity would easily be equal to any other candidate.

    All you need is for one HR person to realise that it makes them look hella smart on all of these levels and BANG you are the candidate of choice.
    (at least that is what I would do!)
