4 x 7 is 21, right?
That's a nice site, may considering using that in future. Bikely has been playing up for a while for me.

TNRC 28/07/2009 - "The Way To People's Beds Is Via Their Herts (or "You're Welwyn There") Ride"
FYI, the route is here, give or take, going anticlockwise. It was 40 miles on 69" fixed in 2h02 for the reccy, but should be far more pleasant and sociable around the 2h30 mark :)
Train departs Kings X @ 7.18pm (via Finsbury Park) // £10 Return // 40 Miles Fast & Rolling
- BMMF
- jonny
- tika
- andyp
- marcom
- mikec (Torn between these and the track nights on Monday and or Wednesday - something always has to give )
- Aleksi
- diapo
- shoots
- Skulls
- clinsmoker
- purple_mj
- balmain
ADDITIONAL TRAIN INFO:
The train will most likely leave from platform 9b. This is one of a few 'extra' platforms, tucked away through an entrance half-way up the left side of platform 8.
Facing the direction of travel, the doors open at Finsbury Park on the left, but all stations thereafter open on the right (so shift bikes at that point). On the return journey, all doors open on the left.
The 7.18pm train arrives in WGC @ 7.46pm. The 7.36pm train arrives 11 minutes later.
Return trains @ 9.58pm, 10.27pm, 10.30pm, 10.50pm (the last realistic train for Sam's 11.50pm connection), 11pm, 11.32pm, 12.09am.

Really sorry for f*cking up your formatting, no idea why. Here's an attempt to fix it. @ - bmmf saves jedininja from a fail, and doesn't make a sarcastic comment about it, shock! must be the responsibility of leading the ride has matured him somewhat ;)

• #2036
I knew I'd be treated kindly. I'll be fit enough! looking forward to it...
-
• #2037
Also its of utmost importance you bring a good front light (fully charged rear helps too). None of this commute bollocks and knog hipster shit up front.
We need to be seen from space.
-
• #2038
^ quality post Ved/Zed . i just shot my Gran into space at no little cost and i told her to look out for a series of lights traveling quite fast in the herts area on the 28th of this month. Come on guys , don't let my gran down

Bollox to ya! Just stay behind someone who has a decent light and can preferably see when the darkness comes down

Lol
"I can't see properly in the dark anyhows, my eyes are fucked, good job I have this awesome knog 5-led bad boy to show me the way"
-
• #2041
LOL Thats the truth. Now that I am going to become a regular on these rides. A new light will be my first purchase once I get paid. Need to follow that up with some clear prescription cycling glasses
-
• #2042
Mike - if you don't get one in time for the next TNRC you can borrow my Hope seeing as I'm oot of the country. You've got shorts that need replacing!
-
• #2043
Believe you me, I have a long list of things I need. Thanks for the offer. I definitely won't have a light sorted by the 28th
-
• #2044
bumped to help polowannabe - come along dude
-
• #2045
Have you done your back-up reccy yet?
Let me know if you've got any mods in mind.
-
• #2046
not yet dude, will be either weds night, thursday afternoon or friday night. hard to pin down due to whim and fancy. whim and fancy are not the forum names of a couple of noobs. btw, from what you said on saturday i don't think there will be any reason to stray from the route.
