Woah, thanks, interesting reading.
Guess I could save some pennies and get something new around the £500 mark. Not knowing much about bikes... Specialized Langster appeals to my minimal side? A Bowery? Fuji Track?
But maybe something older would be better, less likely to get stolen, don't have anyway safe to leave it at work...
