Hey folks, first post!
Well, I was going to ask some questions in a new thread but seeing as I can't do that for 24 hours I'll ask here instead...
Started pedaling a couple of weeks ago, took me 6 months to work up the courage but loving it so far... but...
1) Just found a Y shaped crack, above the fork crown, of a second-hand aluminum bike I got last month. Assuming this is bad shizzle... should I stop riding it? It's maybe 1cm in each direction. The bike must be a good few years old.
2) Taking into account the above, maybe I need another bike, a single speed this time I think, already bored of changing between just 2 of my 21 gears :) This page keeps coming up on Gumtree: http://singlespeed.angelfire.com/ ... any good?
