after a cup of coffee and staring at my screen endlessly i figured out that:
it will be f*cking difficult to wrap the vinyl-decals around the down- and seattube without causing any overlap!

You can always cut back the overlap afterwards, but i would mean cutting on the frame which isn't so great. If there is 1mm of overlap on the under side of the downtube you won't be able to see it and if the vinyl is really thin (if it's the same stuff i use) then you will hardly notice it anyway. Use masking tape or something low tack to mark where it needs to go and use the inside edge as a guidline. It looks a millions times better reverse cut out of the block, IMO.
